In Vince We Trust
After the long-awaited shellacking on Saturday, more is there than many think. Sure, it wasn't a game, but you cannot blame Louisiana on this one. Those poor players had to play (with an unranked team) a top 5 team after many of their homes and families were lost in the wake of hurricane Katrina. However, it was very reassuring that Texas did what they were supposed to do. Vince looked like he had played the Rose Bowl a week ago. Although his throwing motion hasn't changed with that stupid flick, he has matured and there is more confidence than last year. The running back core was amazingly destructive, despite the loss of Cedric Benson. The defensive back field scares me a little bit, but solid nonetheless. Where did Melton come from? Who is this guy? Where are my pants? The defensive line....well, they are one of, if not the best in the nation. Come January, I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be suprised if we see a Texas-USC national championship.
Teams to lookout for: Arizona State, Iowa, Georgia, Notre Dame and TCU???????
