Numbers 3,4 and 8 dropped; two by Big Twelve teams and one Independent. Michigan and Notre Dame kicked off the day with a suprise that was nice and scary. It looks as though that Notre Dame might be on their way back to national prominance. Michigan's team is young and will be a destructive force next year.
Let's talk about the Big Twelve for a minute. The first team to crash and burn was OU, to a crappy TCU team. Then the Aggies did their part by losing to an unranked Clemson. Iowa State has Iowa's number. This was the fourth year in a row that Iowa State has won. They not only won, but beat the crap out of Iowa...#8.
Finally, Texas wins their biggest game of the year (so far). This should definitely solidify their number two spot in the nation. It was probably one of the best games I have seen ever. Vince Young has done exactly what everyone expected him to do. Let us just hope he stays one more year. Even though Ohio State lost, the university should be very proud of the football team. I have more respect for them now. They played with class the entire game; no fighting, cheap shots or trying to hurt Vince after the tackle. Many now look forward to the national championship, which Texas will play in if they FIRST sweep the Big Twelve, and the Big 12 championship. OU is still going to be tough, but not nearly as tough as the past couple of years. Missouri and Texas Tech are always fruit flies in the kitchen teams, annoying. A&M will show up and make it tough as they always do. Hopefully Texas will keep that ego in check and concentrate now on October 8th. HOOK 'EM!!!!

OH BABY!!!!!!

Oh baby, here we go!!! It is now 11 am Friday, September 9, 2005 (and OU still sucks). I hope to come back Monday and brag about how I was correct in my prediction of Texas-Ohio State. This is the game everyone was wanting to happen, not necessarily these two teams, but this type of matchup. Two powerhouse teams, giants, titans, whatever you want to call them, meeting on the field of play Saturday night. This has got to be the biggest weekend in college football in a long time. It will be a knock down, 12 rounds of throw down game. This is for bragging rights for a year and a possible spot in the Rose Bowl. This is why I love college football so much. Two goliaths slug it out for three to four hours. It is going to be a great game, as well as Michigan and Notre Dame. Arizona State is probably going to take LSU to the house. Remember this weekend and remember this year. This one is going down in the history books.

Predictions:

Michigan 24 Notre Dame 20

Arizona State 32 LSU 12

Texas 35 Ohio State 15

Pregnancy on Big Brother???

So, apparently, the producers of Big Brother let a pregnant mother on the show to get better ratings by hopefully seeing a LIVE BIRTH on Dutch t.v. What kind of sick, fucked up shit is that? What (if any) are the boundaries for these pricks who run television? There are none. This is a prime example. Child birth should be sacred and only the doctor, husband and maybe nurses should be present. By the way, this picture is not of the lady, but its the only decent one I could find. What if there were complications with the birth? What if they had to perform a c-section? What then? I am moving for a severe flogging of all television producers. The worst part, the television audience is also to blame. They don't put this shit on t.v. for no reason. People love this crap, and everyone who keeps these reality television IDIOTS in business, needs to be beaten with a hammer or some form of a blunt object. Sure, it wasn't a game, but you cannot blame Louisiana on this one. Those poor players had to play (with an unranked team) a top 5 team after many of their homes and families were lost in the wake of hurricane Katrina. However, it was very reassuring that Texas did what they were supposed to do. Vince looked like he had played the Rose Bowl a week ago. Although his throwing motion hasn't changed with that stupid flick, he has matured and there is more confidence than last year. The running back core was amazingly destructive, despite the loss of Cedric Benson. The defensive back field scares me a little bit, but solid nonetheless. Where did Melton come from? Who is this guy? Where are my pants? The defensive line....well, they are one of, if not the best in the nation. Come January, I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be suprised if we see a Texas-USC national championship.
Teams to lookout for: Arizona State, Iowa, Georgia, Notre Dame and TCU???????

Storm Means More to Me
So as I awake Sunday afternoonish and hop on to the ol' internet, the first story that I see is Hurricane Katrina. I feel for the people of New Orleans and everywhere else that the storm has affected(effected...whatever). But she doesn't live there and it scares me that her phone is off. It's called Beer of the Month, and I'll be rating many different beers once a month and posting ones that I think are excellent and a must try. This month is Peroni:Nastro Azzurro. It's an Italian beer that is light and has a wonderful after taste. The color is a light amber and should be consummed in a light manner, not to be chugged. Peroni is a good end-o-the-night beer, almost like a dessert. Pick up a six pack and enjoy all that is life. I don't know if the movie is going to do well, but my senses tell me no. It's just going to be another graphics movie with crappy dialogue and poor acting. What do you get when you throw a former wrestler and 5 other no talent ass clowns into a movie? A bucket of shit. This is one of those movies that will do a lot better on DVD, than on the big screen. I have played every DOOM game and supposedly there are going to be a few scenes that are going to be first person. I think that is going to be the best part of the movie (sad). Hopefully this one is better than that turd that he did with Sean William Scott. Sometimes you should just stick to sports.

Opponent ....................................Time/Location/channel
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9/3 Louisiana-Lafayette .............UT-60/LaLa-3
9/10 Ohio State ............................ My name is Austin Oman. I am 22 years old and currently not attending school. I am from Dallas, Texas. That's me in the back of the truck with the flag after Texas beat Florida to win the national championship in baseball. I cannot wait until football season begins and the Saturdays are filled with screaming, crazy fans. This is my first blog and will be adding more content in my free time, so sorry about the lack of material.
